Knights of the Word

Welcome, future knight or fellow Knight. These videos to the left are the basic structure of the "Knights of the Word" and what is expected of you as a Knight. It is not complete as it is a lifelong journey in which you vow to serve Jesus Christ as your king now on Earth. Jesus and his Holy Spirit will continue your training as you draw closer to him. He is our king, and we serve him directly as we are a Kingdom of Conscience. I am sure non-knights will wish to watch to see what you are getting into. Knights can watch at will to remind us who we serve. I, Sir Andrew, am a Founding Knight, but you do not serve me. Your service is to Jesus first. My service is to provide this website and send along materials needed for building of the organization.

What must we agree with to become a Knight?

• Must follow the teachings of Jesus Christ 
• Any member of a Christian denomination can join.
• Both Men and Women are welcome as Knights.
• Future Knights must be invited by Current Knights
• You Must be born-again, Confirmed, or seriously on fire for God.
• You are not required to change your Christian denomination. 
• You serve in your own Christian church. (Activity within your church counts as Knightly service.)
• Must actively desire to read the Bible and help others to know God.
• You must promise to seek Spiritual depth for yourself. “Kingdom of Conscience”.
• You are allowed to practice being active at your own pace.
• Encourage the depth of Faith in others. (Teach your children, run a bible study, Lector, help others to provide spiritual guidance, etc.)
• Provide physical help to those who need it. (Donate to causes, help a person in need, help fund-raise for good cause)
• You must obey the laws of the land, apart from violating God's Law.
• You must seek the truth and live it.
• Remember you are the face of God to the world and the face of our order.
• As a parent, you realize the "Family" is the first church. Take an active part.
• Membership is for life.
• Future knights must be knighted and swear an oath to Jesus Christ our king during a knighting ceremony.

What does life as a Knight look like? 

     It is a freedom to serve God as you choose. You do not have to abandon your life to become a brother, nun, or other ordained religious. You serve where you are, at your pace, in whatever denomination you are comfortable with. Jesus reaches us where we are and how we serve him is our choice. Let the Holy Spirit guide your actions. You do not answer to me, I am just a fellow knight. You answer to Jesus directly! I am asking you to live the life of a Christian! We treat the Kingdom of God in our hearts and soul. We bring the kingdom to the world by our actions and hearts.

Why do the "Knights of the Word" accept all Christian denominations?

God is God, He is the truth revealed to us men who are unable to fathom it. Denominations are an invention of our human nature. Like people of different cultures who gather together with like-minded people, Christians gather together with like-minded believers. Some prefer to worship with loud rock-style worship songs, and some like the old hymns.  Some can accept the Body and Blood of Christ as a memory while others are the real thing. These limits of our own making make us fight for what we personally believe. 
     God is above all that. He sees us as individuals and works with us within our limitations and prejudices. If not how could he save the non-believer and the skeptic. Those who have chosen to be children of God must be acceptable to him. I have personally seen good and Holy people in each denomination and witnessed God's hand in each. I do not declare evil what God has declared good. As "Knights of the Word" we must serve God directly, without prejudice or condemnation. Serve happily where you are comfortable, and encourage others to know God.
     We only discredit ourselves and shame our Lord and King to do otherwise. Knights we are here to Build up the Kingdom of God, not divide it. I accept all denominations that call Jesus their King and God. God has throughout time has desired to be our King, and we bat his hands away. Let us embrace him and become family.

Joining the Knights of the Word must be done by a current Knight. Live Knighting is still available by knights to people they know. The website will only accept Knight requests a few times a year. We will be accepting Requests to Join between Jan 15th to Feb 15th!
