Becoming a Knight of the Word Squire
What is a Squire? Like the squire of old it is the entry point to learn and grow into something greater. You need to understand that being Born-Again or confirmed in your church does not make you ready to be a Knight of the Word. Unlike church, The Knights hold a commitment deeper than going to church. It is a one way commitment that cannot be broken. Once a Knight of the Word always a Knight of the Word. Whether the Order exists or not. Your commitment to Christ never ends. So you must be given a period of time to consider what you are doing. It will also give us time to see what you are like as well.
Being a Knight of the Word is both more serious and freeing. As a Knight of the Word, you answer to Jesus our King. Not to me or any other Knight. You must learn to hear the Spirit of God. That is your task, and to follow His direction. The task of the Squire is to develop the skills and learn the ways of the Knights, before you commit. You must request a Knight of the Word to sponsor you. To share some time to get to know each other.
Steps to become a Knight:
- Prayer Private and Public
- Bible Study Live and Online
- Worship be connected with a church
- Find worship music you will Meditate too.
- Find a Knight and speak with them several times.
