Each man born as a baby is born into the world, crying screaming, and selfish by nature. By necessity as a baby needs everything done for it to survive. Fed, clothed, washed, and most of all loved. When we want something we cry and throw tantrums as we do not know better. We are completely selfish in nature, completely given over to sin. As we grow we must learn to share and work with others in the world. Share our toys, treats, and even love with other siblings. We by nature resist this. We become aware of a higher truth that working together helps all parties and the natural tendency to selfishness can hurt us rather than help. At least this is what we need to learn, we resist this truth and wish to remain a child in thought. God teaches us this and more. We not only need to learn to share but to give of ourselves and put others before ourselves. This is Holy in nature and not natural to our understanding at birth. The world was designed so that we come full circle and as Adults, we give all of ourselves to our neighbor and our children as it was meant to be. This creates the utopia we all seek. Few care to grow up in God's kingdom, which is what I speak of. Instead, we remain self-centered and selfish. We remain little children and fail to grow into God's children. The world remains in its sorry state because we must all start at zero understanding of God, and must work toward the goal of peace. Many never get there. The world will always be in trouble because of this, but we can fix our internal kingdom. We can seek peace within ourselves and have peace.
